Experience is one thing which nothing can replace. But it's important that we learn our lessons from our experiences, good and bad. I have my own share of my experiences. But the experience that I had recently gave me so many lessons on life. Some people could dispute with. But nevertheless these lessons will prevent one from being a emotional idiot.
Try your best not to care for people
Why is it that we should care for people? We are not going to derive any benefit out of it. The world has become so fast that there is no time for people to appreciate or to look back with gratitude to those who care about them. If this is the case in this mechanized world then why the hell one should care about people. If we find it hard not to care about people, channelize all the care that you want to shower on your family and very 'few' close relatives and friends. Those who care for people are perceived as those who can't keep pace with the world.
Never assume friends will always be friends.
They say nothing is permanent is this world. Everything in this world is prone for change. When enemies can't be enemies forever, friends also need not be. There is simply no point in being emotional in this regard. Sometimes it might so happen that with distance your friends might move on with their life that they cant afford to spare you the time towards you which they would have when you're around with them.
Never be part of a group which you find hard to identify yourself with.
It's hard to be yourself with a group of people who are not of your kind. If you are a calm person never go out with people who are of opposite nature. It is alright to be with two or three people of your opposite nature at the same time. But never be part of a group in which there is more no. of people who are of opposite nature since a person's behaviour changes if he/she is part of a group. You might feel out of place when you go out with such people as part of a group. Peer pressure makes us to go even if we don't want to but it would be good if we resist that.
Always behave yourself when you're in a group.
No matter how close you are with a person, when you are in a group its better to keep one's calm. Other people in the group might make fun of being formal. But its better to take such things in our stride and maintain our calmness. It will definitely save you from larger embarrassment from your own group.

The oldest profession.....
They term it as the oldest profession in the world. And I saw a debate on whether should it be legalised in our country. Am referring to is Prostitution and the debate was conducted by Burkha Dutt in her show"We the People". The debate was the resultant of the new act passed by the govt which treats the abettor as a criminal and the sex worker as a victim. The best thing about the act is though there are some changes in the existing law, there's not much change in the stance towards the pimping.
I was quite amused when I heard some voices supporting the legalisation of Prostitution. Though we have to treat them as a fellow human beings and their Human rights needs to be protected, its not quite right in my opinion that its right to legalise it. Some people strongly advocated to legalise as it cant be curbed and the only way out for the govt is to legalise and make revenue out of it. Can legalising a crime be the solution if we cant control something?
I can only laugh at such people. They have to realise the problem is much bigger. Legalising Prostitution might result in the number of Human traficcing. It might also cause a problem for residents who stay near the Professional zone. Its difficult to keep in control. Instead of tightening the noose around those involved we're discussing about giving them a red carpet welcome. Its talks such as these which scares me to think about the future of the society.

So much for morals!!
I got a mail which had the pics of star couples. One of the pictures stood out as I was scrolling down. I told my friend to have a look at the pic and started laughing. “What’s there to laugh?” she asked me.”They look like a father and daughter. Do they look like a couple?” I quipped. “He’s not as old as he looks” she retorted. “It’s all because of money. He was already married, had kids and knowingly why should this actress marry him?” I shot back. She asked me,” Do you there’s something called love?”. I was in no mood to give in and asked her why the actress should fall in love with a married man. She defended herself by replying he may not be happy with his family life. Hearing this I stopped the argument. Because I felt I had won the argument as she had brought an assumption to the equation that the married life of the guy might be not so happy.
Even if we consider the assumption valid, why should one fall in love with a man who’s married but not happy though. Probably the actress capitalized on the fact that he’s unhappy with his family life.
But whatever might be the reason both the actress and the producer were at fault. Being a married man he should not have married her. He could have tried to sort out his issues with his family. No marriage is perfect. Every marriage will throw some problems and one should show maturity in handling such things. How can these cases are termed love. I could not understand my friend’s reasoning. How could there be any justification for the act of a guy who ditched his wife for marrying a glamorous star or for that matter the actress who marries a man who’s already married and has kids.
Probably I am not keeping up with the changing times!!
