Experience is one thing which nothing can replace. But it's important that we learn our lessons from our experiences, good and bad. I have my own share of my experiences. But the experience that I had recently gave me so many lessons on life. Some people could dispute with. But nevertheless these lessons will prevent one from being a emotional idiot.
Try your best not to care for people
Why is it that we should care for people? We are not going to derive any benefit out of it. The world has become so fast that there is no time for people to appreciate or to look back with gratitude to those who care about them. If this is the case in this mechanized world then why the hell one should care about people. If we find it hard not to care about people, channelize all the care that you want to shower on your family and very 'few' close relatives and friends. Those who care for people are perceived as those who can't keep pace with the world.
Never assume friends will always be friends.
They say nothing is permanent is this world. Everything in this world is prone for change. When enemies can't be enemies forever, friends also need not be. There is simply no point in being emotional in this regard. Sometimes it might so happen that with distance your friends might move on with their life that they cant afford to spare you the time towards you which they would have when you're around with them.
Never be part of a group which you find hard to identify yourself with.
It's hard to be yourself with a group of people who are not of your kind. If you are a calm person never go out with people who are of opposite nature. It is alright to be with two or three people of your opposite nature at the same time. But never be part of a group in which there is more no. of people who are of opposite nature since a person's behaviour changes if he/she is part of a group. You might feel out of place when you go out with such people as part of a group. Peer pressure makes us to go even if we don't want to but it would be good if we resist that.
Always behave yourself when you're in a group.
No matter how close you are with a person, when you are in a group its better to keep one's calm. Other people in the group might make fun of being formal. But its better to take such things in our stride and maintain our calmness. It will definitely save you from larger embarrassment from your own group.

The oldest profession.....
They term it as the oldest profession in the world. And I saw a debate on whether should it be legalised in our country. Am referring to is Prostitution and the debate was conducted by Burkha Dutt in her show"We the People". The debate was the resultant of the new act passed by the govt which treats the abettor as a criminal and the sex worker as a victim. The best thing about the act is though there are some changes in the existing law, there's not much change in the stance towards the pimping.
I was quite amused when I heard some voices supporting the legalisation of Prostitution. Though we have to treat them as a fellow human beings and their Human rights needs to be protected, its not quite right in my opinion that its right to legalise it. Some people strongly advocated to legalise as it cant be curbed and the only way out for the govt is to legalise and make revenue out of it. Can legalising a crime be the solution if we cant control something?
I can only laugh at such people. They have to realise the problem is much bigger. Legalising Prostitution might result in the number of Human traficcing. It might also cause a problem for residents who stay near the Professional zone. Its difficult to keep in control. Instead of tightening the noose around those involved we're discussing about giving them a red carpet welcome. Its talks such as these which scares me to think about the future of the society.

So much for morals!!
I got a mail which had the pics of star couples. One of the pictures stood out as I was scrolling down. I told my friend to have a look at the pic and started laughing. “What’s there to laugh?” she asked me.”They look like a father and daughter. Do they look like a couple?” I quipped. “He’s not as old as he looks” she retorted. “It’s all because of money. He was already married, had kids and knowingly why should this actress marry him?” I shot back. She asked me,” Do you there’s something called love?”. I was in no mood to give in and asked her why the actress should fall in love with a married man. She defended herself by replying he may not be happy with his family life. Hearing this I stopped the argument. Because I felt I had won the argument as she had brought an assumption to the equation that the married life of the guy might be not so happy.
Even if we consider the assumption valid, why should one fall in love with a man who’s married but not happy though. Probably the actress capitalized on the fact that he’s unhappy with his family life.
But whatever might be the reason both the actress and the producer were at fault. Being a married man he should not have married her. He could have tried to sort out his issues with his family. No marriage is perfect. Every marriage will throw some problems and one should show maturity in handling such things. How can these cases are termed love. I could not understand my friend’s reasoning. How could there be any justification for the act of a guy who ditched his wife for marrying a glamorous star or for that matter the actress who marries a man who’s already married and has kids.
Probably I am not keeping up with the changing times!!

A Train Journey
I was doing MBA At Trichy. It was an unplanned trip to chennai and I boarded Guruvayur Express to reach Trichy. I bought a IIIrd class ticket and went to the platform. I had a look at the IIIrd class compartment to see if i had a chance to get a seat to sit through the 6 hour journey. The coach was jam packed. So decided to get in the last moment. Had a cup of coffee and as I was about to finish it, came the announcement about Guruvayur Express' departure.
I got into the train and somehow moved slightly inside. It was jam packed. Oh! I was lucky that i jus had one small bag as my lugguage. When the train reached Tambaram few more people got in and it became even more crowded that I got squeezed between two gentlemen. Five or six people were sitting where only three could sit.between the seats people spread newspaper and sat. Some people were standing and I could see a grimace in their face. I too thought it wont look good sitting on the floor of a train which was not at all clean. And I didnt have a Newspaper also. It was not that I had not travelled in a Unreserved compartment before but this was the first time I am travelling with out a seat for myself.
I started feeling hungry as time was 10 AM and i was thinking about my Breakfast. I should have packed some stuff to eat in the journey. Anyways it would have been a herculean task to have food in the coach as I was standing. My legs started to give in by half past ten. Hunger and pain on my legs due to 200+ mins of standing forced me to think about sitting. When I tried to sit it was too uncomfortable as I had to sit in an awkward position. But I had no choice as I felt more hungry. There were some people who came as a family and they were discussing something seriously and there were few who were oblivious to the surroundings. There were a couple of guys who were smoking unmindful of the other people. I finally managed to grab a seat for myself and they guy who was seated next to me smiled. I had a furnace because of my hunger and found really hard to bring a smile to my face. The 6 hours were like a full day for me as my body was aching due the awkward positon and the hunger added to it. I was wondering there are so many people travel in such conditions everyday.
Why the govt is not doing anything for the poor people in this country. When so many good things had happened to the upper class and some section of the middle class why nothing has been done to improve the life of the people who struggle to live their life everyday. Had anything been done sincerely to improve their life. Jus think of answering these questions honestly. We may not be able to find an answer. But give it a Try!!

what to name?
I was lying in the small pool of water along with vikas and his bike was on top of our legs. I thought my rough time is following me like a vodafone pug. My mobile was stolen 2 days back and now I generously shared my luck with vikas as his bike skid near the stagnant pool of wate (might be even drainage). When we got up, I was bleeding on my left palm and vikas' trouser was torn on the sides and blood in his palm.
We went to my place and got our dress changed, had breakfast and rushed to KIMS hospital to get injected the Tetanus. Vikas first went to the bed and they closed the screens to inject vikas on his back. A nurse had a peek at wat was happening inside and had a faint smile on her face when she left the place. Vikas was perplexed wen i told him a nurse looked in wen he was injected.
Then we left to shoppers stop to buy clothes for vikas. He told me the sherwani on display was quite cheap. I checked out the place and told him the cost is 7000. The sherwani that he has costs 12ooo+ and the one here is cheap. I was wondering till i had finished my schooling my family's monthly income was less than 7000 and how come a sherwani that costs 7000 can be termed cheap. Theory of relativity!!

Brutal Assassination!
They make mountain out of a mole hill these days. Sensationalism has reached new heights these days.Yes, I am talking about how these news channels make out so much out of nothing. The whole of last week the first news in the bulletin was about the mysterious death of 13 yr old girl at Noida. The role of the policemen was appalling to say the least. They conducted the trial by the media.First the domestic help was accused for the crime. But the body of domestic help was later found on the terrace and it was turned out that both the victim and the accused were killed around same time. The Cops then had no choice but to retract.
Then the girl's father was accused of the twin murder committed. But the motive given by the Cops, without any concrete evidence, was that the father had seen his daughter and the domestic help in an objectionable position. This statement came from a top ranked Cop, which shows that there is absolutely zero sensitivity among the media and the policemen towards the victim and their kin. The 13 year old girl and 45 yr old domestic help are not going to deny.Does this mean that the policemen can hurl whatever they can at them.
The carnivorous media, as described by Rajdeep Sardesai, together with the cops have done what one cant do to the dead soul. Character Assassination is worst thing one can do to others. And to do that to those who are no more is inhuman as the other person cant explain their side of truth. At the end of the day, the policemen and the media have succeeded in brutally assassinating the victims' character, without any concrete proof, which is a more heinous crime than the twin murder.
